We heard that there was a problem with setting up 2 Integrel generators to charge the one large battery bank, because of the charge acceptance of the bank, wanted to be sure that if I was investing in 2 units that I would be able to take full advantage of the charging potential. Would that be an issue and if so, is there a way to resolve it?

The charge acceptance rate of your 40kWh of battery is greater than the total output of the 2 Integrel generators.

The charge rate (18 kW + solar 1.7 kW) (in one hour)  must be less than your total storage. Your storage will be 40kWhr. So you will be fine.
